I have been making wheel-thrown pottery since 1999, when I first studied at Mudflat Studios in Somerville, Massachusetts. I find throwing on the wheel hypnotic and captivating. Time just drifts away as I work with the clay, either throwing or trimming and carving.
I prefer making pottery that I am comfortable using in my own home for serving myself, family, and friends, or for other uses in the kitchen and living areas.
Here are some examples of my work. |
